Over 105 kishores and kishoris from New Zealand and Australia participated in this 3-day shibir based on the theme, 'For the Sake of Akshar Purushottam'.

Held at Massey University in Auckland, in the presence of BAPS sadhus the shibir theme was reinforced through speeches, discussions, question-answer sessions and audio-visual presentations.

The concept of the Akshar Purushottam philosophy and history of the BAPS were explained. The great achievements, despite endless hardships, of Shastriji Maharaj, Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj were discussed. Other topics covered included abhav-avagun, tolerance, unity and sincerity in personal practice of satsang.

The shibir gave an inspiring insight into the Akshar Purushottam philosophy of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and how it can be practically applied in daily life.

Opinions
Sairam Iyer
The message that I take from this shibir is that of bravery and tolerance, exemplified from Shastriji Maharaj's life. I can apply this message into my life in many ways. With my peers, not budging on what I believe and whom I am trying to please.

Kishan Mistry
Just thinking about how much Shastriji Maharaj, Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj have done for us and for the BAPS organization, opens my eyes and the doors of my heart to learn more. It really asks me the question that; if they have done so much, why can's I do something in return?

Ritesh Chhita
The inspirations/message I am going to take from this shibir is that whenever I am going through a so-called hardship, I will remember what my gurus have tolerated and done for me to be where I am today. I have realized that what I go through is nothing compared to abuse and hardships that Shastriji Maharaj, Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj went through.

Sunil Patel
the endured sacrifices which each of our guru's faces will be cherished each day of my life by giving me strength when I'm weak, courage when I'm in danger and love when I need it most.
