The birth anniversary of Brahmaswarup Bhagatji Maharaj and the auspicious festival of Fuldol were celebrated with great fanfare at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Sydney, on 15 March 2009.  The celebration started with dhun and the traditional Fuldol prayer, “Maha balwant maya tamari…”

The celebration assembly featured kirtans, speeches and video presentations on the inspirational life of Bhagatji Maharaj, honouring his total  dedication, selfless service and faithful obedience to his guru, Gunatitanand Swami. 

Kirtans reminiscing on Shriji Maharaj’s colorful celebrations of Fuldol were also sung.  A video presentation of the 2009 Fuldol celebrations in Sarangpur in the presence of Swamishri were relayed to the assembly.

The assembly concluded with arti and mahaprasad.
