Chicago Kishori Mandal enthusiastically extolled Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj during celebrations performed for His 83rd Janmajayanti at the Swaminarayan Haveli in Bartlett, IL. The Chicago Mahila Mandal, including the Premvati, Yuvati, Kishori, and Balika Mandals, joyously met together during the late afternoon hours of 3:30 to 6:00 pm to vibrantly celebrate Swamishri's day of birth with grandeur and excitement on Saturday. A cultural program consisting of various kirtans, skits, speeches, and multimedia presentations explicitly praised Swamishri on this very auspicious day.

Highlights of the program included various items that brought about a sense of belonging to the Guru and His words. Various kishoris and yuvatis alike enlightened the audience on the attributes, the qualities, as well as the life and very mission of Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The amount of dedication and devotion to Maharaj and Swami was seen evident amongst the preparations put forth throughout the afternoon's cultural program. A very noteworthy message brought forth during the program was our sense of exemplifying these very virtues and traits of Swamishri, that as His sevaks, we should imbibe and implement the same into our lives. Swamishri is a living example of who we, as devotees, should strive to become. Hence, it is this very mission and vision of Swamishri we should seek to carry out.
