Family values and unity are
presently deteriorating; divorce rates are increasing; disunity
is destroying families; and generation gaps are separating
parents from children. On Tuesday evening, the San Jose karyakars
addressed these problems in Swamishri's presence.
A drama provided the solution
for maintaining family unity: the practice of Satsang.
Prior to Swamishri's blessings, distinguished guests,
the large-format filmmakers who recently filmed "Mystic India"
(www.mysticindia.com), welcomed Swamishri to Los Angeles.
Keith Melton mentioned, "It was a remarkable experience working
with BAPS and the devotees." Bryan Rogers and David Bartholome
also greeted Swamishri.
Finally, Swamishri blessed the
assembly. He briefly mentioned a few details and significance
of the "Mystic India" film. He then offered advice for preserving
family values, and reinforced the importance of ghar sabha.
