The West Region's Shishu Mandal
presented a special evening program in addition to the normal
daily events that take place in the presence of Swamishri.
Young children, some who haven't even started school, displayed
their love for Swamishri and desire to please him.
After the San Jose Shishu Mandal
performed a traditional dance dressed in flower costumes,
the Los Angeles Shishu Mandal presented a drama discussing
the importance of niyam-dharma (moral and ethical code of
life). Entitled "Bal Sanskaar," the drama was about different
niyams one can take to please Swamishri and to live a good
                    life.
                  The evening program ended with
Swamishri's blessings which focused on remaining firm in niyam-dharma
despite obstacles we face in life. He also discussed that
one should always be proud to be a devotee of God, regardless
of what society says. He praised these young children greatly
                    for conveying such positive messages.
                  Distinguished guests honored
Swamishri in the evening, including the Mayor of Buena Park,
California, Jim Dow, as well as Mayor Pro Tem of Buena Park,
                    Donald McCay.
