For decades Swamishri has been

guiding others towards God.

Inspiring them in times of

hardship; consoling them in

times of sadness, he has been a

constant source of light in their

lives when there has been only

engulfing darkness. But what

has been his source of inspiration

over the years? How has he

managed to remain composed

during incidents of both honour

and insult? What drives him to

push himself night and day in the

service of others? Delving into

the depths of his heart we find

the source of his light...
    His Source of Light

Swamishri has met many different people from all over the world. How does he see all these people...
    Question 6
Question

Harkisan Mehta : Have there been any incidents in your life which have made you really happy?
Answer

Swamishri : One such incident is when I met my guru. The main feature of our life has been that he has entrusted us with this seva. We have been inspired by Shastriji Maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj. Thus we have been able to lead a good life. There were many other paths and there still are today, but only on this path will one attain redemption and a chance to serve society.
Question

Has there ever been an incident which has caused you unhappiness?
Answer

Swamishri : No. There has never been such an incident. We constantly experience bliss.
Question

What about an incident where you have hated someone?
Answer

Swamishri : There’s no reason for such hatred. We realise that all men make mistakes, nobody’s perfect.
Question

Any incident where you have had to scold someone?
Answer

Swamishri : No. If we have to reprimand someone then we do so with love and understanding, so that he realises his mistake and at the same time doesn’t feel hurt. We speak to him in such a way that he doesn’t become disheartened.
Question

If someone criticises you, how do you feel?
Answer

Swamishri : We are not really worried about criticism. In the eyes of God we are right, so people can say what they want! Right now they are ignorant, but someday they will understand.
Question

Do you ever feel that you should explain yourself when criticised?
Answer

Swamishri : Not at all.
