BAPS Children’s
Forum: Golden Anniversary Celebration, Gandhinagar
Spectacular, colorful, breathtaking
and truly inspiring. On 8-2-2004, 20,000 children filled
the lawns of Akshardham to celebrate 50 Golden Years of
BAPS Children’s Forum, established by Yogiji Maharaj
in 1954. Held in the presence of Pramukh Swami Maharaj,
President Abdul Kalam, Deputy Prime Minister L.K. Advani
and other dignitaries, the entire 3-hour event was broadcast
live to over 150 countries.
