Vadodara
is a cosmopolitan city, an important industry center of Gujarat. Maharaja
Sayajirao University of Vadodara is one of the prestigious universities
in India, where many students from outside the city and state come
for studies. To cater to the residential needs of such students.
The hostel was established in May 1983 with 14 rooms. It has since
new expanded and present 50 rooms. The chhatralaya is situated on
a 2 acre plot.

Accomodation
APC Vadodara comprises 50 rooms to accommodate 150 students. Students
are provided pure, hygienic wholesome vegetarian hot food everyday.
Stationery and general stores have been set up on campus for the students'
convenience.

Recreation
Sports are encouraged on the 2 acre campus and students regularly
play cricket, basketball, volleyball and lawn tennis.

huge library with 3,000 books provides reading material to the students
on various topics.

Computer
Center
The hostel runs a special computer institute, Pramukh Institute
of Information Technology (PIIT). The institute has 130 computers
and conducts various classes. Courses conforming to the government
standards (DOEACC courses) and giving government certification are
offered. PIIT has become very popular in a short time due to its innovative
courses and the sincerity of its management and staff.
