Bhavnagar is one of the large cities of the state and boasts all modern conveinences and infrastructure available to a cosmopolitan city today. APC Bhavnagar was set up in 1988 as a small hostel for students who come to study in the city.

Admission
Date: Annual admission is completed by mid-June.

Accomodation
With 26 students today, the hostel has 5 rooms and 1 dormitory.

A modern and hygienic kitchen provides hot, wholesome vegetarian meals. The Chhatralay also has a general store that provides stationery and consumer goods at subsidized rates.

Library
To help attain academic excellence, the library is well furnished and equipped with over 2,000 books. Students can make use of the library space itself for reading the books.
