The Gurukul was established in June 1966 with 30 rooms and 24 students. Today it has 45 rooms which can accomodate 300 students.

Admission
Date: As per school year.
Procedure: Only students scoring more than 60% in standerd 7 are eligible for admission. A written test is held. Followed by personal interview of those who do well in the written exam.

Accomodation
Comprises of 45 rooms to accomodate 300 students. moderns and hygienic kitchen facility provides hot, nourishing, vegetarian meals. A general store provides items of daily use at discount rates.
