We, the members of the 'Pramukh Swami Maharaj Janma Jayanti - Pratishtha Mahotsav Committee' cordially invite you to the idol installation ceremony at Anand on 3.12.2000 (Magsar sud 7, VS 2057). Purna Purushottam Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan has sanctified the Charotar region with His lotus feet and Anand is considered to be its navel. The marble idols of Akshar Purushottam Maharaj, Lakshminarayan Dev, Shri Ghanshyam Maharaj, Hanuman and Ganapati and a panchdhatu idol of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj will be sanctified amidst vedic chantings by Shri Pramukh Swami Maharaj in the shikharbaddh Swaminarayan mandir built according to our traditional vastu shastra. After sanctifying the idols, Pramukh Swami Maharaj will declare open the Kalyandwar of the mandir for worship.

The occasion has been made doubly joyful as we are going to celebrate the 80th birthday of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Thousands of devotees from India and abroad will assemble to pay their respects at the feet of Swamishri who is a symbol of peace, brotherhood and service to humanity.

Anand town has played a magnificent role in the birth and rise of Bochanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha since the days of its founder Brahmaswarup Shastriji Maharaj.
