Through the inspiration
of Pramukh Swami Maharaj the Bicentenary celebrations of Gunatitanand
Swami was held from 22 October to 19 December 1985, in Amdavad, Gujarat.
More than 200 acres of land was transformed into a spiritual wonderland
comprising three mandirs, three archways, a variety of cultural spots,
an enlightening exhibition and a children's mini-world. The agenda of
stage programmes included an International Convention for Better Living,
Women's Conference, Music Concerts, Diwali Celebrations, dramas and
folk dances. A grand procession through the streets of Amdavad colorfully
heralded the festival.
