We believe that a child is an individual with his own learning styles and capabilities. The child needs an ideal environment to absorb positive attitudes and values to attain full potential. The Swaminarayan Vidyapith has laid special emphasis on factors that influence thought and behaviour. Numerous novel and essential inputs have made the following activities proactive to the child's stimulus:

SCHOOL WITH FACILITATORS

Formal education started with gurus in the Vedic ages, but with progression, the teaching-learning process passed through the hands of preachers followed by teachers and instructors and with the change in outlook the need now is of facilitators.

Real learning comes from observation, practice, experimentation and using the knowledge in simulated and real life situations. To implement the same, there will be no teachers or instructors but a facilitator and guide who will facilitate the children for their overall growth.

SCHOOL IN A SCHOOL

Like the school for students, there will also be a school for facilitators. This school will motivate and train them during their stay and sincere efforts will be made to keep them updated with advances in their main areas of teaching.

CLASSROOM - A UNIVERSE

Classrooms used to be the universe in Vedic ages and not just the four walls.

To retain this concept, the school classrooms will try to bridge the child's world and the external world by in-house intra-net facility. The facilitator will attempt to bridge the classroom with the world for the latest updates and allow students to assimilate and refine their knowledge.
The power of the human mind allows people to perform more than one activity simultaneously. Thus in a class of art and craft, the child can even listen to a raga of music. Similar attempts will be made for improving the parallel processing power of the brain.
The class furniture is so designed that it will promote working in groups rather than en-masse teaching.
