BHAKTI is where girls live. Here they learn and grow every minute.
As young adults they absorb tremendous inputs from the world. But the
wisdom of what to abstain and what to sustain, what helps and what deters
is acquired here by learning para vidya, the knowledge of the divine.
This knowledge is gained in morning and evening assemblies through prayers,
spiritual discourses and discussions, reading scriptures and meditation.
The assemblies also intertwine programmes likeskits, debates, quiz,
study-circles, classical music recitals, seminars and folk dances to
bring out the latent abilities in children.

Nobody can replace the mother's lap, however Gruh Mata and Gruh Sanchalikas
attempt to make up for their absence by their warmth, care and love.
As friends, they do all the possible to match what a mother does. Bhakti
is thus a home away from home for 720 girls. A well equipped dormitory
accommodates a group of 20 girls of age group 9 to 11. For 12 to 14
years old the dormitory is restricted to 10 girls. And girls beyond
this age will reside in three-seater rooms.

students at one stretch. Careful planning goes in devising a meal
to satisfy the need of the growing child. Here too our Gruh Sanchalikas
are seen serving extra helpings to the girls. Girls are also encouraged
to try their skills on the stove and a few girls are turning into
good cooks.
When a London girl teaches her friend from Nagpur the finer aspects
of making sauce, you can imagine the wealth of experience both learn
in the process, including of course the culinary aspects.
