Fund Raising

The beautiful, mammoth mandir is the result of selfless sacrifice by individual devotees who volunteered their time, resources and money. Men, women and children persevered to raise funds and create an awareness of the edifying role of the mandir.
The ‘Yogiji Marching Band’ performed at various functions and donated their earnings for the project. A team of lighting and decoration experts worked at different sites decorating business, residential complexes and festive occasions and donated the money for the project.
From mid-1996 several hundred youths collected wastepaper, newspaper, scrap metal and plastic for recycling and reuse. A total of 190 tons of scrap metal, 7 tons of newspaper and 66 tons of wastepaper had been collected.
Sponsor walks, a golf tournament, catering services by the women’s wing, were also some of the other fund raising projects. Besides voluntary effort by the devotees, well- wishers had handsomely donated materials like wood and timber for construction, plumbing pipes, brass fittings, electric cables, generators, transformers, lighting equipment, 3000 lorry loads of red garden soil, steel, cement and inhouse equipments.
