Medical
Camps & Seminars
Special medical camps for women are held in nearly all our centers.
The greatest results can be seen in remote villages where women
are total strangers to diseases like AIDS. Professional doctors,
gynecologists and medical personnel conduct these camps that include
general health check ups and care, gynecological, AIDS, cancer
detection camps and ENT. Camps are also organized to help mothers
with growing children. Polio vaccine camps and cholera vaccine
camps are annually organized. These have been extremely beneficial
for both urban and rural people. Similar camps are also held in
foreign centers.
On 17 December 1997,
on the occasion of Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s 77th
Birthday celebration at Atladra in Baroda, BAPS held a children’s
medical camp to help hundreds of mothers. A total of 513 children
along with their mothers participated in the health camp. Parents
were guided on how to raise their children in the best of health.
